Top-10 Advices for me becoming Cloud Solutions Architect.
- Continue to learn daily, use ALL relevant Youtube channels, event, hackatlons, free ebook materials, audiobooks, Podcasts, and finally reading to learn.
- Set goals for your Journey. Certificates are great because they drive to learn in a modular fashion.
- Reflect and write while learning. Publish articles, build writing notes, write blog entries, be meaningful in social. New to me is Twitch Tv channel, it is highly recommended way of learning about how your actually work.
- do actively join networking events like HackerX and Meetups and on build your presence on LinkedIn. Whenever possible deliver projects to clients and do remember update Curriculum Vitae).
- Whenever possible do presentations at company webinars and customer meetings.
- Seek actively new client opportunities and leads| prepare Business Case Pre Sales and close deals.
- Evaluate Customer leads for Cloud Ready Teams, and find new Lifetime Certified Partner Companies that can bring value to our customers.
- Participating on Customer Projects, and business negotiations.
- creating legal agreements, building up offering, building investor materials, products.
- Deliver Customer service by above expectations deliverables
- Compete and win next assignments with the chosen market segment.
My early years 1983 forward
1982 ABC computer at school class first coding experience to a note sheets.
1983 My own first Commodore 64 wrote couple of Simon’s Basic programs.
1984 My first PC. Samsung PC 8085 Processor; MS-DOS 3.2 Operating System. Yellow Color Screen. Autocad. Turbo Pascal 3.0.
1987 My first IT job as IT support person in a Leading Consulting Company : AutoCad, AutoLisp, 1–2–3, Word Perfect 5.1SF.
1987–1991 B.Sc. Software Engineer, object-oriented programming. EVTOL Metropolia.
1988 First Apple IIc Computer experience with Hypercard programming.
Working as IT Specialist 1987-2011
The busy IT Specialist and Project Manager years. My son was born 1996. Then were 10+ years as IT Project Manager. Microsoft Certified 2000 MSCP. Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Backoffice 2.0, IIS, MS Sharepoint, Oracle Database Administrator, HP-UX, Unix, Solaris, first Linux versions, Hypertext, www, ..
- lifetime.fi was first published as HTML SPA in 1996. My years at University of Helsinki 1991–1995 were eye opening to begin internet based business. Just, the Mastercard payments did not work those days..(until 2001).

Take 2; Creating Lifetime Studios 2015–2017
Lifetime Studios is a Start-Up Owned by Lifetime Studios. We became members of Microsoft BizSpark Partner Program in August 2015 for 2 years. These two years meant a ton of studying from Microsoft Virtual Academy and early builds of CIMS, Crowd Investment Management Studio, a winning solution from Lifetime Studios. First, 2014 there was Windows Azure, Virtual Machine platform using Hyper-V. Really, it was not very production ready at the time. Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and C# language to write first mobile applications. Hockey Application came.
The work as product owner of CIMS includes Modernizing Lifetime Studios development process and manage the entire software development lifecycle with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Team Services using multi tenancy and multiple development teams.
Get in-production a complete DevOps toolchain, from agile planning, source code control to a fully automated CI/CD pipelines and test automation in a single solution to deploy any app on any platform.
Security of Continuous Integration | continuous development environment is a every day challenge.

The Cloud Solutions Architect
In October 2017, I participated to an selection meeting event and was chosen from 500+ applicants to Microsoft Cloud Academy in Helsinki, Finland. The chosen Cloud Solutions Track included 6 months of Azure Cloud Architect training. The courses with hands-on labs were held in Sulava Training Centre. The lecturers were top of Microsoft Class in Finland ; the Tupu, Hupu, Lupu of Microsoft professional training, J.Roine, A.Roine, Bergius, .. . The organizer for Microsoft Azure Akatemia F.E.C was Saranen.
The Microsoft Cloud Academy started 5th of November 2017. Azure Cloud Academy covered Many Hands-On Cloud Solution skills that every cloud architect must have under their belt.
The Academy started with 4 days of Microsoft Azure Bootcamp.

- Skill; Microsoft loves Open Source. First, the Linux Virtual Machines on Microsoft Azure ; RedHat ; SuSe Enterprise ; Ubuntu. Then in Microsoft Windows 10 as virtual on my workstation. This is cool !

Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (MOC 20533)
The second course in Microsoft Academy was Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastucture Solutions.
This 5 days course is important in Microsoft Official Curriculum.
20533 ; Certification tests 1 so far. Next exam is planned in first week of September. Since BizSpark ended in July 2018 there is need for server relocation and setup.
Windows Server Courses
3 days course about Microsoft Server 2016, Active Directory, Identity Management, Virtualization on Azure. Intensive training with lot of hands on labs. Microsoft Windows Server 2019.
Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions MOC 535
Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions was previously 20534. However this course material was the new MOC 535. Certification tests 1 so far. Next exam is soon. I am still waiting for the second edition of the official book. This means they are writing some new Azure functionality !

About this course
This course provides me with the knowledge and skills required to evaluate, plan, deploy, and operate Office 365 services, including its identities, dependencies, requirements, and supporting technologies. I also learned how to set up an Office 365 tenant including federation with existing user identities, and sustain an Office 365 tenant and its users. We took 3 days to this Course 16.-18.4.2018 at Sulava Training Center, Helsinki.
The training period was in Nebula Oy one of the leading internet service providers in Finland. I worked in a Project Team helping them solve daily project issues in various ICT areas.
In Lifetime Studios I have been Microsoft BizSpark Program from August 2015 till July 2018. Many of the courses in the Developer Track are therefore familiar from my Startup time. The Crowd Investment Management Studio CIMS is ongoing project from Lifetime Oy.
The graduation from Microsoft Cloud Academy was 28th of May 2018.

Cloud Ready Teams Certified Consultant Program. We have team of four consisting of two team leaders and one In-house Coach. The first class of devops ready teams starts 22.10.2018. We hope to get 6–10 students to learn with us and to build the concept for 400 hours training program. At the end of this program I hope Lifetime Oy has many more successful consultants onboard. The education program is based on RedHat Developers Program.
